We’re looking for a multifaceted design leader with a strong eye for visual detail and the ability to manage people, projects, and productions.

Requirements

  • 6+ years of related professional experience at a brand or agency
  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field preferred
  • Experience concepting and executing brand and campaign work as an art director
  • Experience leading commercial photo and video shoots on location
  • Experience managing direct reports, freelancers, and external vendors
  • High level of proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, particularly Illustrator, InDesign, and Photoshop
  • Experience working in Figma (required)
  • Experience with project management tools such as Jira and Confluence (a plus)
  • Experience across both print and digital mediums, with a strong understanding of branding, marketing, communications, and advertising
  • Ability to identify issues, evaluate alternatives, and recommend solutions
  • Strong customer experience and service mindset
  • Ability to navigate conflict with empathy and follow through to completion
  • Clear expectation-setting and accountability with team members
  • Excellent time-management and prioritization skills
  • Primary interest in art direction, with a passion for cycling or an active, healthy lifestyle
  • Ability to travel and be on set for photo and video shoots, events, and market research trips
  • Hard-working, organized, and self-motivated
  • Adaptable and comfortable with frequently changing deadlines and requests
  • Able to produce work rapidly without sacrificing accuracy, quality, or craft
  • Skilled at project-managing and prioritizing your own work, with clear communication around timelines and delays
  • Possess strong interpersonal skills—you’re a positive team player with excellent communication skills and the ability to work independently or collaboratively
  • Willing to participate in Marketing and Product team meetings and clearly communicate design requirements to the broader team

Responsibilities

  • Category visual direction
  • Art direction and production of video and photo shoots, on location
  • Art direction of product launch assets
  • Digital campaign direction
  • Retail and in-store campaign direction
  • Website experience direction
  • Collaboration with Digital and Social teams
  • Event branding and asset direction
  • Out-of-home and print advertising direction
  • Internal and external communication design
  • Collaborate with external vendors and agencies
  • Manage 1–2 designers
  • Manage design processes to ensure timely delivery of projects
  • Strategically deliver against the needs of the business
  • Provide design support for the broader Global Marketing team and category marketing managers
  • Support a wide range of stakeholders, including Global Markets, e-Commerce, Sales, and SBCU
  • Travel to photo shoots and events as needed
