About The Position

Newrez is looking for a visionary Art Director to join our in-house Creative team. This role is perfect for a design-driven thinker who thrives on collaboration, innovation, and storytelling through visual media. You will lead the development and execution of high impact creative across digital and print platforms, helping shape the visual identity of Newrez and its Family of Companies. From integrated campaigns to product launches, you will bring ideas to life with precision, passion, and purpose- always pushing the boundaries of what great design can do.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Advertising, Fine Art, Graphic Design or a similar area of focus or equivalent work experience.
  • 4+ years of professional design experience, preferably with a marketing/advertising agency, or corporate marketing department.
  • Possess strong design sensibility, excellent time management skills, and a flexible self-starter mentality.
  • Comprehensive understanding of typography and image, current trends, art and branding, and a modern aesthetic.
  • Ability to work independently and with a team to meet deadlines.
  • Expert skills Adobe Cloud including InDesign, Illustrator and Photoshop in a Mac OS environment.
  • Basic understanding of Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Strong design aesthetic using color, typography, and graphic elements.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills (both written and oral).
  • Deadline focused and flexible under fluctuating workload.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, creative environment.
  • Ability to manage own workload and follow projects from inception to completion.
  • Ability to work under tight deadlines and manage multiple projects at a time.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • Portfolio of work samples provided through a link or PDF attachment.
  • Working on-site at assigned office location.
  • Regular and punctual attendance adhering to schedule established by leadership.
  • Flexibility to work occasional adjusted work schedules, overtime, and evening and/or weekend hours to meet deadlines or as business needs demand.
  • Working in a cubicle hub, maintaining focus on phone calls in a noisy environment within earshot of multiple other conversations.
  • Sedentary work in a stationary position at a cubicle for prolonged periods of time.
  • Constant repetitive motions required for operating a computer, such as typing and managing phone calls.
  • Constantly communicating effectively verbally in English, including accurately exchanging information with others following identification of correct procedures.
  • All employees are required to have smart phones that meet Company security standards with the ability to install apps such as Okta Verify and Microsoft Authenticator.
  • Employment will be contingent on this requirement.

Responsibilities

  • Concept and design across all print and digital channels, including but not limited to fully. integrated marketing campaigns as well as individual projects to include emails, print collateral, direct mail, social media, multi-media, and more.
  • Work closely and collaboratively with other art directors/designers, and marketing team.
  • Produce work that demonstrates a strategic approach to all concepts and designs at all stages of a project.
  • Possess an enthusiastic willingness to be involved at all stages of project development, from creating concepts, to making changes, and releasing final files.
  • Adhere to brand standards across all media.
  • Participate in the creative brainstorming process with the team.
  • Assist in the development of marketing materials for product launches and campaigns.
  • Excellent at managing multiple demands and responsibilities.
  • Ability to work independently and with a team to meet deadlines.
  • Ability to effectively and accurately convey information to others.
  • Performs related duties as assigned by management.
