Requirements

  • 7+ years in visual design or art direction for gaming, interactive entertainment, or digital platforms.
  • A blend of conceptual vision and hands‑on creative execution.
  • Strong portfolio demonstrating excellence in composition, lighting, form, and character-driven storytelling.
  • Experience leading teams that span disciplines — 2D, 3D, animation, UI / UX, and motion graphics.
  • Curiosity for new creative technologies and a proven ability to integrate them into a production pipeline.

Responsibilities

  • Set the overarching visual direction and aesthetic voice across product, live ops, and social marketing.
  • Translate brand strategy and gameplay concepts into a cohesive, standout art style that connects with our players.
  • Develop and optimize smart art‑production workflows using AI and generative tools to accelerate delivery and enhance quality.
  • Collaborate with Product, Marketing, and Engineering teams to develop features and campaigns with engaging visuals.
  • Balance creative goals with business aims, making sure art and storytelling boost engagement and growth.
  • Build art experiences that enhance player immersion, retention, and monetization.
  • Use insights and data to guide creative decisions that improve overall platform success.
  • Lead, inspire, and mentor our in‑house creative team, fostering a culture of innovation and excellence.
  • Cultivate growth through clear direction, constructive critique, and shared creative ownership.
  • Recruit and manage external studios and artists.
  • Establish relationships that expand stylistic range while maintaining brand consistency and production quality.
  • Own and evolve the visual identity system—type, color, motion, UI, iconography, and illustration.
  • Ensure brand cohesion across in-app experiences, content, and marketing touchpoints.
  • Develop and optimize smart art‑production workflows leveraging AI and generative toolsets to accelerate delivery and elevate quality.
  • Experiment with emerging techniques in motion, lighting, and live rendering that redefine what interactive visuals can be.
  • Build scalable systems that empower artists to prototype and iterate rapidly.
