About The Position

APPLE INC has the following available in Cupertino, California and various unanticipated locations throughout the USA. Craft and execute design solutions and studies for print communications, channel in-store graphics, touch-points, and environmental graphics. Design or create graphics and design intents to meet specific product needs, such as displays, out of home placements, logo and typography elements across multiple lines of business. Utilize a variety of formats and mediums, such as print and digital to achieve the intent of the Art Direction. Create and manage Art Direction roadmaps and ratios for each launch cycle. Sustain campaigns used in Channel environments for worldwide placements and Geo development and execution. Provide the wider design team with in-situs, design systems, and working knowledge of channel. Present and manage functional design intents for each product to Geos worldwide. Design and create varying communication touch points for channel specific deliverables such as in-store deliverables, experiences and story-telling and digital adaptation. 40 hours/week. At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $146,910 - $221,200/yr and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location. Requirements

  • 5 years of experience in the job offered or related occupation.
  • 2 years of experience with each of the following skills is required.
  • Advertising, marketing, corporate identity, graphic design relating to a hardware, software, product or tech related industry
  • Utilizing design software including Keynote, Numbers, Pages, iOS, macOS, or Adobe CC to create, maintain, present, and produce graphics for use in marketing communications.
  • Using CAD files to reference hardware dimensions, in store fixtures, and displays to create detailed and accurate graphics.
  • Creating, developing and presenting design systems and intents to detail in-depth guidance to worldwide audiences to perform and use the provided graphic work across multiple deliverables and touch-points.
  • Designing and printing production skills necessary to seamlessly hand-off work to production teams taking into account pre-press considerations, digital executions, multiple formats, orientations, size, and in-booth color proofing and the correct production terminology for efficiency.
  • Working with geographic markets relating to merchandising and geo-sensitivities to take into consideration alternatives and variations of design work to account for cultural do’s and don’ts, legal requirements, and competitive variations necessary to abide by.
  • Working with 3D Visual merchandising relating to in-store fixtures, product layout, security, formats, panels, large and small scale printing and digital executions.
  • Designing and communicating strategy for the customer journey from digital to in-store retail experience
