Business Insider is hiring an Art Director to join our Brand Marketing team, serving the Events and BI Studios teams to lead and execute integrated creative campaigns across branded content, brand marketing, and experiential initiatives. As an Art Director, you will concept, design, and execute visual systems that power custom branded content, marketing initiatives, and experiential activations. Reporting to a hands-on Creative Director, this is a hands-on senior leadership role that combines high-level conceptual thinking with day-to-day execution. You will play a critical role within BI Studios, shaping the visual direction of custom content programs, native advertising, and integrated brand partnerships. This includes developing campaign concepts, pitch materials, and scalable design systems that translate across editorial-style storytelling, interactive experiences, social extensions, and event environments. This role has significant ownership and visibility across revenue-driving initiatives. You will regularly present creative concepts to clients and senior stakeholders, clearly articulating design rationale and creative vision. You will also lead and mentor designers, freelancers, and contractors, ensuring a high standard of craft and consistency across all deliverables. This position reports directly to the Creative Director and sits within the Brand Marketing team, and serves the Events and BI Studios group. This position is based in our New York City HQ with an in-office presence of at least 2 days per week.
