About The Position

The Feed is the largest online marketplace for athletes seeking the best in sports nutrition, fueling strategies, and performance supplements. We partner with the world’s top endurance athletes and brands to deliver trusted products, education, and experiences that help athletes perform at their best. The Feed provides athletes with the widest selection of active nutrition and healthy snacks on the market today. We use science, our experience, and advice from athletes to give our customers personalized recommendations for better nutrition. Our e-commerce platform allows customers to learn about nutrition and then build a custom box for one-time or subscription purchase. Develop and produce compelling creative concepts across The Feed’s brand campaigns, daily marketing efforts, and content initiatives. Lead the design, layout, and visual execution of assigned projects, ensuring consistent adherence to The Feed’s design guidelines and brand standards. Deliver thoughtful, high-impact creative solutions across a wide range of tactics and assets, including social, experiential, static and animated video; digital advertising (banners, paid social—video and static, rich media); print, posters, and out-of-home; email design; logo design and branding; packaging and collateral systems; and digital interfaces (web, app), with the ability to extend and elevate UI/UX design. Apply strategic insights to solve creative challenges with originality, clarity, and purpose. Prepare work for internal reviews, stakeholder presentations, and vendor handoffs for production. Confidently present and advocate for creative work with internal stakeholders. Incorporate feedback thoughtfully and iteratively, maintaining creative integrity while improving outcomes. Collaborate cross-functionally with teams throughout all phases of a project, from concept through execution. Partner with internal teams to manage vendors, freelancers, and external creative partners. Successfully manage multiple complex projects with overlapping timelines, consistently delivering high-quality work without compromising craft or attention to detail.

Requirements

  • 3–5 years of experience as an Art Director or in a similar role, with a strong emphasis on graphic design.
  • Proven ability to generate fresh, original ideas consistently—conceptual thinking comes naturally and often.
  • A portfolio and reel demonstrating exceptional taste, judgment, imagination, and the ability to deliver standout creative concepts, campaigns, and visual solutions across a range of brands and channels.
  • Highly collaborative, with the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
  • Advanced graphic design skills, including typography, layout, digital and print production, image manipulation, illustration, and animation.
  • Strong understanding of marketing design principles and layout systems.
  • Flexible, proactive, and adaptable—comfortable evolving ideas to meet the fast-moving needs of the business.
  • Deep passion for design, creativity, and the The Feed brand.
  • Exceptional attention to visual detail and craft.
  • Proficiency in industry-standard design tools, including Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, Premiere, InDesign/XPress), Figma, and CapCut or similar video software.
  • Curiosity and enthusiasm for emerging AI-driven image and video generation tools, including prompt development and creative experimentation.
  • Calm, resilient, and focused under pressure, with a track record of delivering high-quality work on tight timelines.
  • Highly detail-oriented and organized.

  • Education in creative advertising and conceptual development preferred (advertising or related degree a plus, but not required).
