About The Position

This position creates compelling, on-brand digital experiences for the brand—including the website, email, paid digital advertising and organic social. Inspires and manages a team of graphic designers. Builds strong cross-functional relationships with, but not exclusive to, e-commerce, marketing and merchandising teams. Creatively leads all e-commerce and digital photography with the studio of record to consistently elevate and evolve selling and marketing imagery.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree strongly preferred or equivalent required
  • 5+ years digital design experience, including ecommerce, digital marketing to include 3+ years in a creative management role
  • Strong digital portfolio, demonstrating clean, user-centered and intuitive design solutions, mobile-first mentality
  • Ability to develop and adhere to brand style guides, design systems and libraries
  • Experience in managing multiple complex creative projects with a demonstrated ability to adapt to changing business needs
  • Experience leading design reviews and providing clear feedback
  • Excellent presentation, communication, organizational agility, problem solving skills, and thorough attention to detail
  • Expert in digital typography, Adobe Creative Suite, Figma
  • Experience with incorporating motion graphics, animation, and video into digital marketing

Responsibilities

  • Partners with creative leaders and business leaders to elevate and evolve the digital experience across Chicos Frontline and Chicos Outlet.
  • Leads a team of designers from concept to creative execution of marketing assets for site, email and social.
  • Manages day-to-day digital design route/review, while balancing concepts for future seasons: concepting digital experiences to support brand and marketing initiatives.
  • Creates, and executes designs across both digital and print mediums, with a focus on digital while maintaining omni vision.
  • Provides clear direction and alignment from channel partners to designers – setting clear briefs, reviewing work, understanding of promo shifts and alignment.
  • Collaborates cross functionally with channel partners – marketing, visual and site merchandising, site, email and UX teams as well as presents to cross functional partners and senior leadership weekly.
  • Supports Creative and Digital leaders on campaign and PDP photoshoots. Inclusive pre-planning and on-set support.
  • Act as brand liaison for PDP photography, oversight on pre and postproduction and on-set art direction. Includes model casting, HMU, asset reviews.
  • Values individuality and the diverse talents of their team. Leads the team by communicating expectations, providing guidance, delivering feedback, and empowering the team to be their best.
