Location: Canopy Jersey City Arts District
Position: Arrival Enthusiast / Door & Valet Captain (Part-Time)
Schedule: Thursday–Sunday (flexible)
Reports To: Director of Front Office
Summary:
Oversee front drive and bell services while ensuring a smooth, welcoming arrival and departure experience for all guests.

Requirements

• Strong customer service and communication skills
• Team-oriented with a proactive, professional attitude
• Ability to stand for long periods and lift luggage
• Flexible schedule, including weekends

Nice To Haves

• Prior hotel or hospitality experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly on arrival and departure
• Supervise front drive operations, valet flow, and bell staff
• Assist with luggage handling, storage, and deliveries
• Coordinate with front desk, valet, and other departments
• Track baggage, guest requests, and deliveries accurately
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of front drive and lobby areas
• Recognize VIPs and returning guests; anticipate guest needs
• Ensure safety, security, and proper handling of guest property
• Assist with group arrivals, special requests, and daily operations
