Requirements

  • Technical diploma OR minimum 1 year of relevant industrial experience in electro-mechanical functions.
  • Experience in one or more of the following industries: airline, military, oilfield, automotive, or electronics.
  • Basic electrical experience with 3-phase 480V and single-phase 120V systems.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams, assembly prints, and parts lists.
  • Familiarity with formal maintenance procedures and practices.
  • Knowledge of hydraulic circuits and troubleshooting techniques.
  • Proficient in using multimeters, megohmmeters, hi-pot testers, and other basic instruments.
  • Basic computer skills.

Responsibilities

  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on trucks, ships, and surface cabin equipment.
  • Weld, paint, and refurbish equipment as needed.
  • Conduct mechanical inspections and troubleshoot issues using diagnostic tools.
  • Assist in reworking, repairing, testing, and modifying non-conforming equipment.
  • Ensure compliance with Health, Safety & Environmental (HS&E) policies and procedures.
  • Handle special projects as assigned.
