As a Security Professional - Armed Patrol Full-Time in Butner, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As an Armed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol government locations, helping to deter security-related incidents while maintaining a visible presence. Requirements

Be at least 21 years of age.
A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
An armed guard card or license is preferred.
Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while maintaining a professional presence.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location and its perimeter to help to deter potential incidents and observe for any unusual activity.
Monitor entrances, exits, and restricted areas, verifying authorization of individuals as required by site-specific protocols.
Maintain accurate and detailed logs of daily activities, incidents, and observations as required by Allied Universal and site policies.
Support law enforcement or emergency personnel as directed during critical situations at the location.
Remain alert and attentive during all assigned shifts, maintaining readiness to respond to situations as they arise.
Operate and maintain assigned equipment, including communication devices and any required protective gear, in accordance with Allied Universal and site guidelines.
