As an Armed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at a financial institution location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, helping to deter security-related incidents while providing a visible presence. You will interact with customers and staff, offering outstanding customer service and communication. Requirements

An Armed Guard Card or License is required.
Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Customer service experience is preferred.
Experience with access control or badges is preferred.
Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the financial institution's premises and perimeter to help to deter potential security-related issues.
Monitor entrances, exits, and other access points to help to deter unauthorized activity within the location.
Document and report any unusual activity, security-related incidents, or maintenance concerns observed during patrols.
Work closely with Allied Universal management and site leadership to address security-related needs and/or concerns specific to the financial institution environment.
Maintain a visible presence to help to deter unwanted behavior and provide reassurance to staff and visitors.
Adhere to all site-specific protocols, including those related to the handling and use of firearms, while on duty.
