About The Position

Armed Security Officer (Full-Time) - Titusville, PA MUST HAVE CURRENT VALID PENNSYLVANIA ACT 235 CERTIFICATION Schedule: 3 days on/3 days off 12-hour shifts. Shifts are 6p-6a. Valentis Group Inc, is seeking an experienced Armed Security Officer to join our team. The Armed Security Officer will be responsible for ensuring the safety and security of our premises, staff, and visitors. The ideal candidate must have a valid armed security officer license, exceptional surveillance and observation skills, and the ability to handle emergency situations calmly and efficiently. Candidate must complete required TAH paperwork and be approved through their process before working on site. Candidate must pass Valentis Qualifying Readiness Standards in Academics, Use of Force, Defensive Tactics, OC, Taser (not mandatory but preferred), Expandable Baton, Firearms, Medical, Scenario Response, and other trainings as required by Valentis policies. Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent; additional certification in security management is a plus
• Proven experience as an Armed Security Officer or similar role
• Valid armed security officer license
• PA Act 235
• Strong knowledge of security protocols and procedures
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Nice To Haves

• Taser (not mandatory but preferred)

Responsibilities

• Patrol premises regularly to maintain order and establish a visible security presence
• Monitor and authorize entrance of vehicles or people in the property
• Respond to alarms and investigate disturbances
• Create reports for management on any incidents or suspicious activities
• Escort individuals on the premises when required
• Conduct security checks over a specified area
