As a Security Officer, you will be responsible for protecting the guests and their property at a premier upscale hotel location. You will be the only officer on duty, which means that you will need to be vigilant at all times. Your duties as a Security Officer will include conducting patrols on foot, responding to any security breaches, providing safety-related assistance to anyone in need while maintaining a high level of professionalism at all times. The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills, a strong attention to detail, and the ability to think quickly on their feet. Location & Site Specific Information: North Houston 77056 A premium hotel located in the heart of Houston uptown district. Schedule: Tuesday | 10:55PM - 6:55 AM Wednesday | 10:55PM - 6:55 AM Thursday | 10:55PM - 6:55 AM Friday | 10:55PM - 6:55 AM Saturday | 10:55PM - 6:55 AM Total weekly hours = 40 hours (set schedule)

Responsibilities

• Monitor parking garage to prevent theft, trespassing, or vandalism.
• Request emergency personnel as needed.
• Assist internal LP department with specific needs.
• Patrol and provide security presence.
• Monitor traffic coming onto the property.
• Patrol all areas of site.
• Warn and report violators of premise rules and regulations.
• Ensure security breaches are immediately reported.
