As a Patrol Armed Officer with Allied Universal, you will help to deter security-related incidents by conducting routine patrols and maintaining a visible presence at a retail location. Requirements

Be at least 21 years of age.
Must have an active Texas Armed Security License
A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients and guests by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities as needed.
Respond to incidents and critical situations within the retail environment in a calm, problem-solving manner.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail location and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity.
Maintain a visible presence to help to deter theft, trespassing, and other unwanted behaviors.
Monitor for suspicious activity and report findings according to site protocols.
Interact professionally with store staff, visitors, and customers to address inquiries and provide assistance.
Follow all Allied Universal protocols related to armed patrols, including proper handling and carrying of assigned equipment.
