Requirements

Have 3+ years of combined law enforcement, military, and/or security-related experience OR a college degree.
Be at least 21+ years of age.
Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and/or members of the public while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a government location.
Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting activity and communicating with site contacts and/or public agencies as needed.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
Monitor access points and restricted areas, verify credentials when required, and report policy violations, suspicious behavior, and/or maintenance concerns to the appropriate contact.
Perform assigned armed post duties in accordance with Allied Universal guidelines and site expectations, maintaining professionalism during public interactions and security-related response activity.
