We are seeking a highly professional and dedicated Armed Security Officer to support security operations at a client site in New Canaan, Connecticut . The Security Officer position helps maintain a safe and secure environment for our clients by actively monitoring the premises, including patrolling a variety of locations. They preserve order while enforcing regulations and directives for a client site pertaining to personnel, visitors, and the area. Frequently our Security Officers will provide customer service and information to a client’s employees and customers. Requirements

Valid Connecticut Armed Security Guard License
Valid Connecticut Pistol Permit
Minimum age of 21 years.
Ability to stand, walk, and conduct patrols for extended periods.
Excellent communication, observation, and problem-solving skills.
Must successfully pass all background checks and drug screening requirements.
Professional appearance and demeanor are mandatory.

Responsibilities

Maintain a professional and visible security presence at all times.
Conduct thorough interior and exterior patrols as assigned.
Monitor premises and respond promptly to security incidents, disturbances, or emergencies.
Prepare clear, accurate, and timely incident and activity reports.
Enforce site policies, access control procedures, and security protocols.
Assist with visitor management and credential verification.
Communicate effectively with site management, security supervisors, and law enforcement when necessary.
