About The Position

As a Security Officer Armed Mobile Driver in Irving, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Chemical/Petrochemical, and more. Join Allied Universal as an armed patrol officer at a chemical and petrochemical location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, stay visible to help discourage security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. This is an armed and driving post for professionals who bring integrity, reliability, teamwork, and a people-first mindset to every shift.

Requirements

Possess an armed guard card and/or license.
Have at least 6 months of armed security-related, law enforcement, and/or military experience.
Be at least 21 years of age.
A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Possess a Level III Armed Certification for Texas only.
Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities at an industrial location.
Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting concerns to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the location, including perimeter areas, restricted zones, parking areas, and key operational spaces, helping to deter unauthorized activity.
Monitor access points and verify credentials, vehicles, and deliveries in accordance with site protocols, helping to support controlled entry and exit at the location.
Support incident response by communicating with site personnel, public responders, and/or Allied Universal leadership during medical, fire, environmental, and other security-related events.
