About The Position

As a Security Officer Armed Mobile Driver in Irving, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Chemical/Petrochemical, and more. Join Allied Universal as an armed patrol officer at a chemical and petrochemical location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, stay visible to help discourage security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. This is an armed and driving post for professionals who bring integrity, reliability, teamwork, and a people-first mindset to every shift.

Requirements

  • Possess an armed guard card and/or license.
  • Have at least 6 months of armed security-related, law enforcement, and/or military experience.
  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Possess a Level III Armed Certification for Texas only.
  • Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities at an industrial location.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting concerns to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
  • Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the location, including perimeter areas, restricted zones, parking areas, and key operational spaces, helping to deter unauthorized activity.
  • Monitor access points and verify credentials, vehicles, and deliveries in accordance with site protocols, helping to support controlled entry and exit at the location.
  • Support incident response by communicating with site personnel, public responders, and/or Allied Universal leadership during medical, fire, environmental, and other security-related events.
