Armed Security Officer Orlando Area Part time
About The Position
Excelsior Defense is looking for an Armed Security Officer in the Orlando Area Part-time to protect our client's premises, assets, and personnel. You will maintain a high visibility presence and prevent all illegal or inappropriate actions and maintain access control into the property. Doing rounds, scanning in different points throughout the property in the housing contract. The Officer needs to be prompt with patrolling the community to making sure everything is safe, and no homeless are sleeping on property. This position is in the Orlando Area Schedule: 1. Friday and Saturday (9pm -5:00am) 2. Sunday and Monday (9pm -5:00am) 3. Sunday (9:00pm- 5:00am) 4.Monday (9:00pm-5:00am)
Requirements
- Proven work experience as a security officer or relevant position
- Valid D and G security License (Needs to be active with both security License)
- Ability to operate detecting systems and emergency equipment
- Must have your own weapon
- Excellent knowledge of public safety and Security procedures/Protocols
- Surveillance skills and detail orientation
- Integrity and professionalism
- Detailed report writing
Responsibilities
- Protect company's property and staff by maintaining a safe and secure environment
- Observe for signs of crime or disorder and investigate disturbances
- Act lawfully in direct defense or life or property
- Apprehend criminals and evict violators
- Report in detain any suspicious incidents
