As a Patrol Armed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol utility locations, helping to deter security-related incidents and providing a visible presence. Requirements

A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
A valid concealed carry weapons permit is required.
At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
An armed guard card or license is required.
Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.
Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding to emergencies when appropriate.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm and problem-solving manner, utilizing de-escalation techniques as needed.
Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity or access.
Monitor entrances, exits, and other critical areas within the location to help to deter suspicious behavior and maintain a secure environment.
Maintain detailed and accurate records of daily activities, incidents, and any unusual occurrences as required by Allied Universal policies.
Collaborate with site personnel and local law enforcement as needed to address security-related concerns or incidents.
Perform access control duties, verifying identification and credentials of individuals entering restricted areas within the utilities location.
Remain alert and attentive throughout the shift, ready to respond promptly to alarms, emergencies, or requests for assistance.
