About The Position

Armed Security Officer – Full Time – Overland Park, KS Wage: $22.50/HR Overnight Shift Securitas plays an essential role for our clients and in society. The Armed Security Officer position helps maintain a safe and secure environment for our clients by actively monitoring the premises, including patrolling a variety of locations. They preserve order while enforcing regulations and directives for a client site pertaining to personnel, visitors, and the area. Frequently our Armed Security Officers will provide customer service and information to a client’s employees and customers and serve as a physical deterrent. Requirements

• 21 years of age or older
• High School Diploma, GED, OR ability to complete the GED program within 6 months
• Standard computer / technology skills needed
• Must have great attention to detail and have the ability to remain alert throughout the duration of the shift
• Must be able to respond to emergencies with rapid / effective judgment and use appropriate escalation
• All candidates must be willing to participate in the Company’s pre-employment screening process, including drug screen and background investigation
• Must be a highly professional armed officer for corporate environment
• Must have a minimum of 12 months Military, Law Enforcement, or Armed Security experience
• Must pass psychological exam, NRA firearms course, and obtain Armed KCMO guard card
