About The Position

Armed Security Officer – Full Time – Overland Park, KS Former Military / Law Enforcement Encouraged To Apply!! Wage: $22.50/HR Securitas plays an essential role for our clients and in society. The Armed Security Officer position helps maintain a safe and secure environment for our clients by actively monitoring the premises, including patrolling a variety of locations. They preserve order while enforcing regulations and directives for a client site pertaining to personnel, visitors, and the area. Frequently our Armed Security Officers will provide customer service and information to a client’s employees and customers and serve as a physical deterrent. High School Diploma, GED, OR ability to complete the GED program within 6 months. Strong computer / technology skills needed. Conflict resolution and de-escalation skills a plus!! Must be able to interact with a wide range of individuals in a professional manner. Must have great attention to detail and remain vigilant throughout shift. Must be able to respond to emergencies with rapid / effective judgment and use appropriate escalation. All candidates must be willing to participate in the Company’s pre-employment screening process, including drug screen and background investigation. 1 year of armed security, military or law enforcement required. Requirements

• High School Diploma, GED, OR ability to complete the GED program within 6 months
• Strong computer / technology skills needed
• Must be able to interact with a wide range of individuals in a professional manner
• Must have great attention to detail and remain vigilant throughout shift
• Must be able to respond to emergencies with rapid / effective judgment and use appropriate escalation
• All candidates must be willing to participate in the Company’s pre-employment screening process, including drug screen and background investigation
• 1 year of armed security, military or law enforcement required
