Job Description As a Armed Security Officer - Weekend Patrols in San Antonio, TX , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As a Patrol Armed Officer with Allied Universal, you will help to deter security-related incidents and provide exceptional customer service at a dynamic retail location. This role involves routine patrols, visible presence, and quick response to situations, all while carrying out armed and/or driving responsibilities as required. Requirements

An armed guard card or license is required.
Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.
A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Level III armed certification is required for positions in Texas only.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and participating in emergency response activities as appropriate.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining a professional presence at all times.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or potential threats.
Monitor entrances, exits, and common areas, remaining alert to unusual activity and reporting observations as required.
Maintain detailed and accurate records of daily activities, incidents, and/or any irregularities encountered during patrols.
Collaborate with local law enforcement and/or emergency services when necessary, following established protocols.
Carry and responsibly handle assigned firearms in accordance with Allied Universal policies and applicable laws while performing all duties.
