As an armed patrol officer with Allied Universal, you will help to deter security-related incidents by conducting routine patrols and maintaining a visible presence within a dynamic retail environment. Your role includes interacting with guests and staff, providing outstanding customer service, and responding professionally to situations as they arise. Requirements

An armed guard card or license is preferred.
A guard card or license is preferred.
Customer service experience is preferred.
Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within the retail location.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while maintaining a professional presence.
Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the retail environment and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or suspicious behavior.
Observe and report any security-related irregularities or incidents to the appropriate personnel and/or law enforcement as needed.
Interact with employees, visitors, and customers to provide assistance and maintain a welcoming atmosphere while upholding security-related protocols.
Maintain awareness of the surroundings and report any hazards or concerns to site management and/or Allied Universal leadership.
