Job Description As a Security Officer - Armed Patrol Full-Time in Raleigh, NC , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As an Armed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal, you will help to deter security-related incidents by conducting routine patrols and remaining visible throughout government locations. This post is both armed and driving, requiring you to respond quickly and professionally while providing outstanding customer service and communication. Requirements

An armed guard card or license is required.
Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.
A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as needed.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the premises and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity.
Monitor entry and exit points to help to maintain a secure environment for all individuals at the location.
Observe and report any unusual activity or security-related concerns to the appropriate personnel.
Assist visitors and staff with security-related inquiries and directions as required.
Maintain a visible presence to help to deter potential disturbances or infractions at the location.
Follow all Allied Universal protocols and procedures for armed patrol posts.
