Join Allied Universal as an Armed Patrol Officer serving a government location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas to help deter security-related incidents. This position requires both armed and driving responsibilities. You will remain visible throughout your shift, provide exceptional customer service, and communicate clearly with visitors and staff. Requirements

Be at least 21 years of age.
A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
An armed guard card or license is preferred.
Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as directed.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
Conduct regular and random armed patrols around the location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activities.
Monitor and report any suspicious activity or security-related concerns to the appropriate personnel.
Maintain a visible presence to help to deter potential security-related issues within the location.
Follow all protocols for handling and carrying firearms in accordance with company and site-specific guidelines.
Assist visitors, staff, and/or contractors by providing information and guidance as needed.
Complete required documentation and incident reports accurately and promptly.
Collaborate with law enforcement or emergency services as necessary during incidents or emergencies.
