About The Position

As a Security Officer Armed Area Patrol in Midland, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. Requirements

• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at a technology and communications location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting security-related concerns to site contacts and/or local authorities as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout buildings, parking areas, and perimeter access points to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or unusual conditions.
• Monitor entry points, verify access credentials, and support visitor and delivery processing in accordance with site protocols and/or post orders.
• Maintain a visible presence while handling assigned firearms and other equipment in accordance with Allied Universal standards, post instructions, and applicable laws and/or regulations.
