As a Security Officer Armed Driver Deterrence Patrol in Midland, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries. As an Armed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas at a dynamic location, remaining visible to help to deter security-related incidents while delivering outstanding customer service and communication. This is a driving and armed post requiring a valid driver’s license and Level III Armed Certification. Requirements

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Level III Armed Certification is required in Texas only.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities at the location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, including situations that may require an armed presence consistent with post orders.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location, including interior areas, exterior grounds, and perimeter points, to help to deter unwanted activity and/or identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points and verify credentials, deliveries, and visitor activity as directed by site procedures, while reporting concerns through proper channels.
• Document daily activity, incidents, and observations in required reports, and communicate with site contacts, supervisors, and/or first responders when appropriate.
