Job Description As a Armed Security Officer - Overnight Driver in Las Vegas, NV , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As an Armed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at a government location, you will conduct routine patrols, remain highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents, and respond to concerns with calm, professional communication. This is an armed post requiring an armed guard card/license, and a driving post requiring a valid driver’s license under AU driver policy requirements. Requirements

Have 1 plus years armed security, law enforcement, and/or military experience.
Possess an armed guard card and/or license.
A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to patrons and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at a government library location.
Maintain a visible armed presence and help to deter prohibited activity while supporting access control, visitor screening practices as assigned, and orderly conduct within public areas.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including disturbances, medical calls, and/or alarms, and request additional resources as needed.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility, surrounding grounds, and perimeter, monitoring for unusual conditions, unsecured areas, and/or policy violations.
Complete required reports and logs for security-related incidents, patrol activity, and/or client interactions, and communicate status updates to site leadership and Allied Universal supervision.
