Job Description As a Security Officer - Armed Patrol Specialist in Morganton, NC , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As a Patrol Armed Security Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol assigned government locations, helping to deter security-related incidents while providing a visible presence. Requirements
- Be at least 21 years of age.
- A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- An armed guard card or license is preferred.
- Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities as directed.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.
- Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and report any unusual circumstances.
- Monitor and control access points to the facility, verifying identification and authorization as required.
- Maintain clear and accurate documentation of all incidents, observations, and activities during the shift.
- Collaborate with local law enforcement and emergency services as needed for incident response and reporting.
- Maintain readiness to respond to emergencies, including the appropriate use of firearms as required for the post profile.
- Follow all Allied Universal and client-specific protocols for armed patrol duties within a government environment.
