About The Position

As a Security Officer - Armed Government Patrol in Nashville, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Armed Patrol Officer, where you will monitor and patrol designated government locations, helping to deter security-related incidents and offering outstanding customer service. This position requires both an armed guard card and a valid driver's license, as you will be responsible for both foot and vehicle patrols. Requirements

An armed guard card or license is required.
Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as appropriate.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and report any unusual observations.
Monitor entrances, exits, and other critical areas within the location to help to deter prohibited items and/or activities.
Document and report all incidents, observations, and activities in accordance with Allied Universal and site-specific protocols.
Maintain a visible presence throughout the assigned location to help to deter potential disturbances and provide assistance to staff, visitors, and/or contractors as needed.
Participate in emergency preparedness drills and respond to alarms and/or emergency calls as directed by site management and Allied Universal protocols.
