Join Allied Universal as an armed patrol officer supporting a government location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, stay visible to help to deter security-related incidents, and respond to concerns with clear communication and strong customer service. Requirements

Be a graduate of a law enforcement or military police training program or equivalent.
Be at least 21 years of age.
Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

An armed guard card and/or license is preferred.
CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred and may be completed post hire.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to personnel and visitors by following site-specific security-related procedures, government facility policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
Conduct regular and random armed patrols of buildings, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter points, observing for conditions that could help to deter unauthorized activity.
Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, coordinating with site representatives and/or local public agencies as directed.
Control access at designated entry points by verifying identification and/or authorization, screening visitors according to post orders, and directing individuals to appropriate locations.
Complete timely written reports and logs of patrol activities, incidents, and security-related observations, and communicate relevant information during shift briefings and handoffs.
