About The Position

As a Armed Security Officer - Front Desk Specialist in San Antonio, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. As a Front Desk Security Professional with Allied Universal at a financial institution location, you will be the first point of contact, helping to deter security-related incidents and providing exceptional customer service. This is an armed post, where you will monitor access, verify credentials, and maintain a welcoming environment while upholding our commitment to integrity, teamwork, and a people-first approach.

Requirements

  • Level III Armed Certification for Texas is required.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • An armed guard card or license is preferred.
  • Experience with access control or badge systems is preferred.
  • Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Greet visitors and employees in a professional manner and assist with access to the location as outlined in site-specific policies.
  • Monitor entry and exit points to help to deter unauthorized access and/or suspicious activity.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations at the front desk in a calm, problem-solving manner.
  • Maintain detailed and accurate logs of all front desk activities, including visitor check-ins and deliveries.
  • Communicate promptly with Allied Universal management and/or client contacts regarding security-related issues or emergencies.
  • Follow security-related procedures and protocols specific to financial institution environments.
  • Provide customer service by addressing inquiries and offering directions or information as needed at the front desk.
