Job Description As a Security Officer - Armed Government Patrol Driver in Manson, NC , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As a Patrol Armed Security Professional at this government location, you will conduct routine patrols to help deter security-related incidents and maintain a secure environment. This position requires both armed and driving responsibilities. You will remain visible, provide exceptional customer service, and communicate clearly while representing Allied Universal's values of reliability, teamwork, and integrity. Requirements

Be at least 21 years of age.
A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
An armed guard card or license is preferred.
Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities as needed.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the assigned government location and its perimeter to help to deter potential issues.
Monitor and report any suspicious activities or security-related concerns observed during patrols.
Assist visitors, staff, and/or authorized personnel with inquiries and access within the location while maintaining a professional presence.
Maintain detailed and accurate records of daily activities, incidents, and/or irregularities as required.
Work collaboratively with Allied Universal team members and local authorities when necessary to address incidents.
Adhere to all post orders and instructions specific to the armed patrol assignment at the government location.
