Requirements

Active Department of Defense Secret Clearance required.
Must be at least 21 years of age.
Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

A valid firearms permit is preferred.
Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, adhering to site-specific policies, and responding to emergencies as appropriate.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.
Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or suspicious behavior.
Monitor entry and exit points, verifying credentials and access permissions as required by site protocols.
Maintain detailed records and logs of all activities, incidents, and observations during each shift.
Collaborate with Allied Universal team members and site personnel to address security-related concerns and/or escalate issues as needed.
Remain alert and prepared to respond to potential threats or emergencies, utilizing appropriate de-escalation and response techniques.
