About The Position

Looking for a guard with credentials to fill urgent open shifts in the region. Our armed guard secures premises and personnel by patrolling property; monitoring surveillance equipment; inspecting buildings, equipment, and access points; permitting entry. Armed guards prevent losses and damage by reporting irregularities; informing violators of policy and procedures; restraining trespassers. Duties include maintaining the safety of the public and keeping everyone and the property secure. It is vital for security officers to communicate as effectively and efficiently as possible. Technology plays an integral role in enhancing security guards' capabilities as they carry out their duties. The Guard provides professional security services: institutional, industrial, or commercial property against fire, theft, vandalism, and illegal entry.

Requirements

Previous experience as a Security Guard or in a similar position is preferred
Valid registration as a security officer
Necessary Licenses
High school diploma/GED
Strong understanding of public safety and security procedures
Excellent written communication skills and report writing ability
High level of integrity and professionalism
Attention to detail and strong observational skills
Ability to work without direct supervision

Responsibilities

Patrol the premises and maintain a high level of visibility
Monitor entrances and exits to ensure only authorized personnel access the facility
Remove trespassers when necessary
Respond to reports of suspicious activity
Report on daily activities and any security incidents
