Join Allied Universal as an Armed Patrol Officer supporting a government location, where you will conduct routine patrols and remain highly visible to help deter security-related incidents. This dynamic role involves providing outstanding customer service, clear communication, and upholding our values of agility, reliability, and integrity. As this is both an armed and driving post, you will play a key part in maintaining a secure environment while representing our caring, people-first culture. Requirements

Be at least 21 years of age.
A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
An armed guard card or license is preferred.
Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as needed.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.
Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or potential threats.
Monitor entrances, exits, and other sensitive areas to help to deter unauthorized access and/or suspicious activity.
Document and report any security-related incidents, observations, or unusual occurrences according to Allied Universal protocols.
Collaborate with local law enforcement and/or emergency personnel when required.
Maintain a visible presence to help to deter potential disturbances and/or security-related risks.
Adhere to all regulations and procedures related to armed security posts as outlined by Allied Universal and the client site.
