As a Patrol Armed Officer at a healthcare location, you will actively monitor and patrol the premises, helping to deter security-related incidents and providing a welcoming presence for staff, patients, and visitors. Requirements

Armed Guard Card or License is preferred.
Experience with access control and/or badge systems is preferred.
Customer service experience is preferred.
Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients, patients, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities within a healthcare environment.
Respond in a calm, problem-solving manner to incidents and critical situations that may arise at the location.
Conduct regular and random armed patrols of the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and maintain a visible presence.
Monitor entrances, exits, and sensitive areas to help to deter unauthorized access and protect property, assets, and individuals within the healthcare setting.
Document and report security-related incidents, observations, and actions taken according to established procedures.
Assist with access control, visitor management, and the enforcement of site-specific rules and regulations.
Provide support and assistance during emergency situations, including medical emergencies, fire alarms, or evacuation procedures, as required by site protocols.
Collaborate with clinical staff, visitors, and local authorities as needed to address incidents and maintain a secure environment.
