You will conduct routine foot and/or vehicle patrols, maintain a visible presence to help to deter security-related incidents, and respond to alarms and service calls with calm communication. You will also assist employees and visitors with customer-focused service while documenting observations accurately. Bring agility, reliability, innovation, teamwork, and integrity to every shift.

Requirements

Possess a Concealed Carry Weapons Permit.
Possess 1+ years' law enforcement experience OR 2+ years' security supervisor/manager experience OR 3+ years' security experience.
Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

CPR Certification is preferred and may be completed post hire.
Armed Guard Card/License is preferred.
Customer Service Experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients at a financial institution location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
Maintain an armed post in accordance with Allied Universal policies, applicable licensing requirements, and site directives, including required equipment checks and documentation.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and notify appropriate internal and external resources based on site protocols.
Conduct regular and random armed patrols of the facility, cash handling areas, ATM areas, and building perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or suspicious behavior.
Complete reports and logs such as shift activity, incident reports, and patrol documentation, and communicate relevant information to oncoming personnel and site management.
