You will conduct routine foot and/or vehicle patrols, maintain a visible presence to help to deter security-related incidents, and respond to alarms and service calls with calm communication. You will also assist employees and visitors with customer-focused service while documenting observations accurately. Bring agility, reliability, innovation, teamwork, and integrity to every shift.

Requirements

  • Possess a Concealed Carry Weapons Permit.
  • Possess 1+ years' law enforcement experience OR 2+ years' security supervisor/manager experience OR 3+ years' security experience.
  • Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • CPR Certification is preferred and may be completed post hire.
  • Armed Guard Card/License is preferred.
  • Customer Service Experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to clients at a financial institution location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Maintain an armed post in accordance with Allied Universal policies, applicable licensing requirements, and site directives, including required equipment checks and documentation.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and notify appropriate internal and external resources based on site protocols.
  • Conduct regular and random armed patrols of the facility, cash handling areas, ATM areas, and building perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or suspicious behavior.
  • Complete reports and logs such as shift activity, incident reports, and patrol documentation, and communicate relevant information to oncoming personnel and site management.
