As an Armed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal in a dynamic tech, media, and telecom location, you will help to deter security-related incidents by conducting routine armed patrols and maintaining a visible presence. Your role involves delivering outstanding customer service, communicating clearly with clients and visitors, and upholding our values of integrity, teamwork, and innovation as you help create a secure environment for all.

Requirements

At least one year of armed security-related, law enforcement, or military experience is required.
An armed guard card or license is required.
An active Department of Defense Secret Clearance is required.
Level III armed certification is required for positions in Texas only.
Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as needed.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while maintaining professionalism.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the technology-focused location and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity.
Monitor for unusual activity and report any security-related concerns to the appropriate personnel.
Assist with access control, verifying identification, and managing entry and exit points as required by site protocols.
Maintain an armed presence and be prepared to respond to security-related threats in accordance with training and company policies.
Complete required documentation and incident reports in a thorough and timely manner.
Work collaboratively with other Allied Universal team members and site representatives to support a secure environment.
