As an Armed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal in a dynamic tech and media location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, remaining highly visible to help deter security-related incidents. You will provide exceptional customer service, communicate clearly with staff and visitors, and respond promptly to any security-related needs. Requirements

Have at least 1 year of armed security-related experience, law enforcement experience, or military experience.
Possess an armed guard card or license.
Hold an active Department of Defense Secret clearance.
Hold a Level III armed certification if applying in Texas.
Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding appropriately to emergencies.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.
Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the premises and perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity, with awareness of the unique needs of a technology-focused location.
Monitor access points and control entry to restricted areas, following established protocols for a tech, media, and telecom environment.
Document and report all incidents, observations, and activities in accordance with Allied Universal and client guidelines.
Collaborate with law enforcement or emergency personnel when necessary, supporting a secure environment for the location.
Maintain a visible presence to help to deter potential threats and provide reassurance to staff, visitors, and contractors.
