About The Position
KRE Security, LLC is currently sourcing qualified candidates in the Carbon / Lehigh County area for potential Armed School Security Officer opportunities. Please Note: This posting is for recruitment and candidate sourcing purposes in the Carbon / Lehigh County area. We are building a pool of qualified armed officers for anticipated and upcoming school-based assignments. Position Overview Armed School Security Officers are responsible for maintaining a safe and secure learning environment for students, faculty, and visitors. Officers serve as a visible security presence and respond proactively to potential safety concerns.
Requirements
- Act 235 certification (required)
- Ability to complete Act 67 School Security Personnel certification
- Ability to pass all required background checks in accordance with school and state regulations
- Valid driver’s license
- Clean criminal background
- Professional demeanor and strong communication skills
Nice To Haves
- Experience in law enforcement, corrections, military, or armed security preferred
Responsibilities
- Provide armed security presence on school property
- Monitor entrances, exits, and school grounds
- Control access and verify visitors
- Respond to incidents and emergencies
- Collaborate with school administration and local authorities
- Complete detailed incident reports
