Requirements

Must have prior Law Enforcement or Military background
Genuine desire and interest in the security industry
Ability to stand 100% of shift and meet the physical requirements of the job
Reliable transportation
Basic computer skills to include word and outlook
Great communication/writing skills
Armed requirement with dual licensing in Oregon and WA.
DRIVERS LICENSE
Pass pre-employment drug testing and background check
Must be able to maintain confidentiality
Must be able to provide 3 professional references
High School Diploma GED

Responsibilities

Serves as a visible and active security officer on campus dealing with the prevention and resolution-related behavior/social concerns.
Conducts routine patrols of assigned facilities to include buildings and parking lots.
Operates system equipment to include alarm systems and surveillance equipment.
Counsels individual students in relation to the student’s ability to function effectively in the educational environment
Coordinates security for crowd and vehicle control at extra-curricular activities and special events
Assists other law enforcement agencies with incidents involving local criminal activity that may impact student or site safety
Maintains paperwork related to activities that may include police reports, daily activity logs and incident reports.
