Primary Purpose and Function The Security Officer is responsible for providing security services at assigned locations with a focus on patrolling the area on foot and in a golf cart, lending strong support to the access control - gate operations as well as observing and reporting. Duties include but are not limited to liaising with the client to review events, discuss training and strategies, training new hires thoroughly to meet and exceed client expectations on security services and customer/client service, quality control exercises with officers, monitoring and reporting all activity, conducting foot patrols, vehicular patrols, golf cart patrols, and/or bicycle patrol of applicable interior and/or exterior areas, reporting suspicious activities, suspicious persons, writing detailed narrative reports, maintaining daily activity reports (DAR's), enforcing post orders, site rules, regulations, policies, procedures, and responding to emergency situations requiring security assistance.
