As a Security Officer - Armed Patrol Financial in Seattle, WA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. As an Armed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal, you will conduct regular patrols and maintain a visible presence at a leading financial institution location. You'll help to deter security-related incidents and provide exceptional customer service to all visitors and staff. Requirements

Possess a Concealed Carry Weapons Permit.
Have 1 or more years of law enforcement experience or 2 or more years of security supervisor or manager experience or 3 or more years of security-related experience.
Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Participate in industry-specific security-related training programs.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

CPR Certification is preferred.
Armed Guard Card or License is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity.
Monitor entrances, exits, and sensitive areas within the financial institution to help to deter unauthorized access or suspicious behavior.
Maintain a visible presence to help to deter potential risks to people and property.
Complete detailed and accurate reports regarding incidents, observations, and activities as required by Allied Universal and site-specific protocols.
Communicate professionally with clients, visitors, and staff while upholding Allied Universal standards.
Carry and maintain proficiency with assigned equipment as required by the post profile and site protocols.
