About The Position

As a Security Officer - Armed Patrol Clearance Required in Redmond, WA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more. Join Allied Universal at a high-impact aerospace and defense location as an Armed Patrol Officer. You will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine rounds, stay highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents, and respond to alarms and access control needs. Working with a team that is agile, reliable, and innovative, you will deliver strong customer service, clear communication, and integrity-driven reporting on every shift.

Requirements

• Have a minimum of 2 years of security experience.
• Possess a Concealed Carry Weapons Permit.
• Maintain an active DoD Secret clearance.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to our clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at an aerospace and defense location.
• Perform armed patrol duties in accordance with Allied Universal post orders, applicable laws, and site requirements, helping to deter unauthorized access and/or prohibited activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including incident documentation and timely notification to site leadership and/or public authorities as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of buildings, production areas, access points, and the perimeter; working environments and conditions may vary by site.
• Control access by verifying identification, monitoring visitor and vehicle entry, and coordinating with on-site personnel for deliveries, contractors, and restricted area entry.
