About The Position

As a Security Officer - Armed Rover Security Clearance in Redmond, WA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more. As an armed Patrol Officer at a high-tech aerospace and defense location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, complete routine rounds, and stay highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents. You will control access, respond to alarms and/or incidents, and communicate clearly while providing strong customer service to employees and visitors. Requirements

  • Have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
  • Possess a valid concealed carry weapons permit.
  • Maintain an active DoD Secret clearance.
  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • CPR certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to site personnel and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at an aerospace and defense location.
  • Perform armed patrol duties while maintaining compliance with post orders, applicable laws, and Allied Universal training requirements for firearms carriage, use of force, and documentation.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including receiving alarms, assessing conditions, requesting assistance as needed, and completing clear incident reports.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols of buildings, production areas, and perimeter points, observing for unusual activity and conditions that may help to deter unauthorized access and/or policy violations.
  • Control access at designated entry points by verifying identification and/or credentials, managing visitor processing, and following site procedures for restricted areas and property movement.
