This position requires carrying a firearm and using sound judgment in high-pressure situations. To qualify, officers must be licensed, trained in firearm safety, and adhere to all applicable laws and regulations.

Requirements

Must have or obtain a Valid Security License as required by the state licensing authority.
Must have a valid driver’s license from your state of residence.
Must be 21+ years old.
Must pass Armed training and hold a valid pistol permit.
Driving post: must have a clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR).
Must have full flexibility of scheduling to assist covering multiple sites.
Ability to work in fast-paced, high-stress environments.
Availability to work weekends.
Strong situational awareness and curiosity.
Ability to stay calm and problem-solve in critical situations.
Basic computer skills; able to use a tablet for reporting.
Stand for at least 1 hour without support or break
Sit for at least 1 hour without break
Walk at least ½ mile without stopping
Education: HS Diploma or equivalent
Experience: 1+ years of verifiable security, military or law enforcement experience.

Nice To Haves

Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite.
Experience: 3+ years of verifiable security, military or law enforcement experience.

Responsibilities

Security Operations Perform regular patrols to enhance safety and identify security concerns.
Monitor access points, verify IDs and credentials.
Enforce procedures per Security Post Instructions.
Incident Response & Reporting Respond swiftly to alarms, emergencies, and incidents per protocol.
Maintain accurate logs of activities and observations.
Execute routine tasks: locking/unlocking doors, managing security systems, and monitoring surveillance.
Customer Service & Professionalism Assist visitors and employees, addressing concerns professionally.
Enforce SEI and Client policies (e.g., smoking, loitering, parking).
Maintain a clean, pressed uniform and professional appearance.
