About The Position

First Responder Protective Services is actively hiring 2 Flex/Part time Armed Commissioned Security Officers (Level III) to work at construction site locations in the South San Antonio area. This is a high-visibility position requiring vigilance, professionalism, and a commitment to safety and asset protection. Requirements

Valid Texas Level III (Commissioned) Security License
Must pass a background check & drug test
Reliable transportation and personal cell phone
Valid Texas Driver’s License with clean driving history
Ability to stand, walk, and patrol for extended periods
Strong communication and incident documentation skills
Must stay alert and attentive throughout entire shift
No use of personal electronic devices unless authorized
Professional appearance and conduct at all times

Nice To Haves

Prior military, law enforcement, or security experience
Previous construction site security experience
High school diploma or GED
Strong customer service or public-facing background

Responsibilities

Provide armed protection for construction sites, equipment, and personnel
Conduct routine patrols and maintain a visible presence on-site
Monitor site activity and report any suspicious or unauthorized activity
Complete accurate daily activity and incident reports
Enforce site-specific rules and company policies
Respond to emergencies and contact appropriate authorities when necessary
Arrive 15 minutes prior to shift start for proper briefing and readiness
Follow post orders and supervisor instructions with diligence

Benefits

$25–$30/hour depending on qualifications & experience
Bi-weekly pay via direct deposit
Overtime (1.5x pay) after 40 hours per week
