About The Position

First Responder Protective Services is actively hiring 2 Flex/Part time Armed Commissioned Security Officers (Level III) to work at construction site locations in the South San Antonio area. This is a high-visibility position requiring vigilance, professionalism, and a commitment to safety and asset protection. Requirements

  • Valid Texas Level III (Commissioned) Security License
  • Must pass a background check & drug test
  • Reliable transportation and personal cell phone
  • Valid Texas Driver’s License with clean driving history
  • Ability to stand, walk, and patrol for extended periods
  • Strong communication and incident documentation skills
  • Must stay alert and attentive throughout entire shift
  • No use of personal electronic devices unless authorized
  • Professional appearance and conduct at all times

Nice To Haves

  • Prior military, law enforcement, or security experience
  • Previous construction site security experience
  • High school diploma or GED
  • Strong customer service or public-facing background

Responsibilities

  • Provide armed protection for construction sites, equipment, and personnel
  • Conduct routine patrols and maintain a visible presence on-site
  • Monitor site activity and report any suspicious or unauthorized activity
  • Complete accurate daily activity and incident reports
  • Enforce site-specific rules and company policies
  • Respond to emergencies and contact appropriate authorities when necessary
  • Arrive 15 minutes prior to shift start for proper briefing and readiness
  • Follow post orders and supervisor instructions with diligence
