As an Armed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol assigned financial institution locations, helping to deter security-related incidents and providing a reassuring presence. You will conduct routine patrols, remain visible to support a secure environment, and offer outstanding customer service and communication. Requirements

Possess a valid concealed carry weapons permit.
Have at least 1 year of law enforcement experience or 2 years of security supervisor or manager experience or 3 years of security-related experience.
Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

An armed guard card or license is preferred.
CPR certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and respond to emergency situations as needed.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including situations that may arise within financial institution locations.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the premises and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and maintain a visible presence.
Monitor access points and verify the credentials of individuals entering and exiting the location, in accordance with site protocols.
Maintain detailed reports and logs of observations, incidents, and activities during the shift.
Collaborate with local law enforcement and/or emergency personnel when necessary, following established protocols for armed patrol posts.
Remain alert and aware of surroundings at all times, adapting to changing conditions within the financial institution environment.
