As an ARGO Developer within PNC's Check Modernization and Teller organization, you will be based in Pittsburgh, PA or Strongsville, OH or Dallas, TX or Birmingham, AL or Phoenix, AZ. We are seeking an ARGO Developer to support and enhance our Teller platform, including modernization initiatives and ongoing maintenance. This role will design, build, and support ARGO Teller solutions, integrate with enterprise services, and help evaluate out-of-the-box vendor functionality versus custom extensions. Job Description Provides detailed technical design and development of software solutions using existing and emerging technology platforms. Proposes & designs software solutions to address complex business needs. Writes code, tests and deploys software. Prepares technical and procedural documentation required for software. Maintains and debugs software.

Requirements

  • Demonstrated experience developing or supporting ARGO Teller / ARGO platform solutions.
  • Strong understanding of software engineering fundamentals (design, development, testing, and support).
  • Experience working in an Agile delivery model with cross-functional partners (engineering, QA, architecture).
  • Experience with financial data handling, auditability, and traceability
  • Familiarity with integration of downstream check processing, X9s, etc.

Responsibilities

  • Develop, enhance, and support ARGO Teller capabilities, including analysis and delivery of enhancements and defect fixes.
  • Participate in modernization efforts, including assessment of moving from legacy/desktop implementations toward modern/web or vendor-hosted solutions.
  • Collaborate with architects, QA, and stakeholders to define requirements, document solutions, and support implementation planning.
  • Support integration needs and technical design discussions for implementation and reuse of existing components where applicable.
